The Kirkfield - St. Helens

Just visit for real ale and sometime meals as live not far away. A lovely hotel ,nice staff, garden at back (if nice weather)

Whist it is a hotel it is also open to the general public. It has a lot of different areas, depending on which entrance you go thru brings you into a different area and ambience. There is a small bar at one end, which has a great selection of beers that includes guest beers, which regularly change. You can stay in this 'small bar ' area or walk into a very civilised area with big sofas and high- backed leather chairs to relax and drink your pint. At the other end is the restaurant area, which you walk thru on hot/sunny days to enter into the small beer garden. The place has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. A really nice place to spend a few hours chatting the day away with friends over a good quality beer. Not eaten here yet!

We booked The Kirkfield hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was the best decision ever. The hotel is lovely, exactly what we were looking for. The staff is amazing and the food delicious. The location is very good too, parking spaces available just opposite to the hotel and a lovely park to take a stroll. We will be back soon!!! Thanks you
