Farmstead continues to be one of our top restaurants. We like cooking on wood fire. Wood cooking adds a nice smoky taste to the items. It also makes us feel like we are outside camping. Previously, in photos, we had the beignets covered in powdered sugar and wood grilled artichokes. Both are our favorites. Today we started with the wood grilled artichokes (no surprise). One of our other favorites is the cheddar biscuits. These add a nice cheesy (no pun intended) flavor to any entree you get. Wednesday was Lamb day. We got the special lamb meatballs over vegetable rogù. This was our first lamb here and it was excellent. For dessert, an Apple galette was calling us since it was my birthday. The combination was impressive. The outside BBQ neon sign is impressive at night. Inside next to the door is a great open area with the Farmstead sign. Seating, as shown, is casual but very nice. Farmstead has a nice outside grass area that is often used for weddings and special events. We strongly recommend you give them a try.
Really great service. Just okay food. Extremely dog friendly.... Convenient parking lot just in front.
Absolutely Perfect! From the moment you walk up to the restaurant, and walk into the main dining, you are immersed and shown that the food is fresh from the farm. This old world classic concept has been lost in time but Farmstead has made it a priority to showcase the current season on its plates! My husband and I enjoyed an amazing brunch that has been a conversation piece since our experience. The menu was nothing short of simplistic fine dining ! We started with the soft and warm burrata alongside a whole roasted garlic spread on crispy sliced sourdough bread. It was complimented by the tart pickled onions, and super crunchy pickles. We then proceeded to our main entree, a hearty super delicious grass-fed cheeseburger! It was the most perfectly balanced burger I?ve ever had! The portion was large, so we did split this between the two of us.. The patty was cooked to perfection and sandwiched between fresh greens and soft ciabatta! It was accompanied by super crunchy roasted potato wedges with homemade ketchup!! We sipped on mimosas and wine and enjoyed our meal quite pleasantly. The ambiance was airy, light, and comfortable. The staff just as warm and welcoming. We concluded our meal with espresso that was oh so wonderful! Overall a phenomenal experience! This is truly deserving the full 5 stars!!!!!
