Bidra med feedbackKneaders has great food! Anything I've ordered there has been excellent ?.
I ordered on the app as I've done in the past. Went through the drive thru to pick up. Now it was a Friday evening with about 3 or 4 cars in front of me so I understand it could take some extra time to get through but the service I received was horrible! Told the person at the speaker I was there to pick to which she said to go ahead and pull up. The wait was extremely long but I understand. By the time I got to the window we'd waited about 20 minutes after the order said it'd be done but that wasn't the problem...the girl at the window opened it and asked me how she could help me. I was like seriously?! But I calmly reminded her of my order and away she went I thought to make. But the longer I sat the more frustrated I got. Sat another 30 minutes where inside it looked like I got totally forgotten about as I saw her and one other girl helping all of the people inside. Finally just as I was about to pull around to cancel the girl hands me my order. There was no apology for the wait! No apology for being forgotten about! Not even an acknowledgment that I was still nice and thanked her even though she didn't deserve it! Luckily the food was good but clearly something with the service needs to change! And I didn't even add the fact that they said they were out of one of the bread and the lights surrounding the building didn't come on so it looked closed. Very unwelcoming!
This is the second time I’ve waited nearly 20 mins for my food in the drive thru.
Update: I sent an email to the email address. Their solution was for me to download the app and they’d add credits/freebies/something. I declined the opportunity to add another app to my phone, and was therefore told that there was nothing they could do.We had a Turkey sandwich on a croissant that was pretty good. The staff was friendly but the service was slow. Not a big deal. I also order a sugar cookie and bought 3 different loaves of bread and orange rolls. Those were all a disappointment. They were dry and seemed to be a few days old, instead of fresh. They will likely all sit on the counter for the next week, untouched, before they get thrown out. This is our first time back at a Kneaders in probably a decade (lived out of state), but we won’t return.
I have been to this Kneaders twice since moving to St. George, and neither time was a great experience. Today, we ordered french toast and were told it would be a minute. We didn’t mind. When we finished eating, my husband went back up to the register to see if they still did their “all you can eat” french toast, and was met with an eye roll and a sigh. We are college students who don’t get to eat out very often, and if we have the chance to, then we would like to be able to take some food home for later. I also work in fast food and I know it can be annoying if someone asks for something while you are busy, but it was relatively quiet. I know that it doesn’t cost anything to be nice. The place smelt like sewage and bleach, which was kind of unpleasant. At least the french toast was good (despite it having hair and eggshells in it…
