The Beach Hut - St. Charles

First time here, bartender not friendly, very disappointed, well I have to give it an other shot next time ,maybe bartender wasn't happy that day!!

Fun little place tucked in just north of 64. Great tropical drinks and fun decor.

Beach themed bar in St. Charles which sounds like a bad idea but it works amazingly. Dawn's Beach Hut isn't open enough, which is the only problem. It only opens a few days a week. Good drinks. These are sweet so if watching calories don't have a lot. Came in before leaving town and was lucky enough this was open just before going by here. I got a Blue Lagoon. This was the bartender's recommendation. It's about $10 for a typical cocktail. This one is made with Blue Curaçao, lemonade, and vodka. It's easy enough to chug. The sweetness of it overpowers the alcohol, which both is bad and good. Has quite a few colorful bright cocktails. It's easy to consume these because of the sweetness but be careful if you need to watch your intake. The business hours are the only other bad thing.

Peter and michelle are the best duo around on Friday nights. I never have felt more at home than when with them.
