Alligator Pear Take Home & Catering

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at this restaurant. It tasted homemade and was very comforting. I opted for the fresh version, but I'm sure the frozen option is just as delicious. It's worth noting that they were open for Christmas, which was a nice touch. Just make sure to clarify that they serve fresh, warm food - I almost missed out because I initially thought it was all frozen.

I stopped for lunch today and was welcomed by the new owner Hiroki. Initially, I was disappointed to see new owners and a new menu at this place that I frequent. However, Hiroki offers quality Korean fusion food that exceeded my expectations. I tried the spicy chicken dish and the flavors were incredible. The portion size of the meat was generous and the price was very reasonable. For the same price as a burger combo at a popular fast food spot, I enjoyed a delicious and authentic Korean BBQ experience. To be honest, I plan on returning to try more dishes from their menu for dinner.

When we need to grab a bite to eat during work, Alligator Pear is our go-to spot. The food is unbeatable, especially the marinated chicken dish which we absolutely love. If you haven't discovered this hidden gem yet, you definitely won't regret it!

I used Tara and her alligator pear services for a private function in my house and must say I'm so glad I did. It was great to keep me updated throughout the process with menu ideas and also via all food settings... at our end to adapt the meal to our taste. I was very impressed with the last menu and the meal was delicious! Tara even served thoroughly after what was an additional bonus. Overall, she was very professional, easy to work and made it easy for me to recommend Alligator Pear to others who are looking for a local catering service.

We walked in and couldn't really tell if they were open. Wandered around the front area for 10 minutes and left when nobody came. My boyfriend went back an hour or so later and managed to find someone. They really only sell sandwiches and pizza....Pizza only comes in two kinds, pepperoni and cheese, except for the flavor of the day. They offer takeout but not delivery, and it's hard to figure out their hours. Often the doors are locked during business hours. When they're not locked the counter is unmanned. Kinda weird. We were able to finally get some food there. It was a sandwich, nothing wrong with it. A bit overpriced even for St Catharines, especially so far off the beaten track.
