Bidra med feedbackMy weekend trip to Saint Augustine was perfect. From the art walk on Friday to the Christmas parade and cannons, it was all so much fun – except for the weather. Of course, I was there for the food. My friend and talented chef, Everyday Pearson, is currently in residency at Cellar 6, so I had to stop by and try his creations. I had been following Pearson's stunning food creations on Instagram (@gourmetfoodpics) and had been eager to try his dishes. Luckily, Saint Augustine is local enough for me to visit. I have been a fan of Pearson's cooking for some time and can now proudly call myself a groupie. The kitchen at Cellar 6, a popular local hotspot, promised me an amazing dining experience – and they certainly delivered.

We had high expectations, but in the end, we were disappointed. We made a reservation for two on a Friday evening. The reservation fee was a new experience for us.
My wife and I dined at this restaurant last night. We started with their "True Blue Chips" as an appetizer, which were not actually blue but still delicious. My wife ordered the Caprese salad for her meal, adding a side of shrimp which she found to be slightly spicy. She thought the salad was very good. I opted for the hamburger, which was cooked to perfection at a medium temperature as I had requested. Despite the busy atmosphere and the fact that we were in a large party of eight, our service was excellent. While the prices were a bit higher, considering the location of the restaurant, they were not unexpected.
