Beaches At Vilano - St. Augustine

We were not impressed by the welcome we received. Despite the restaurant having several empty tables, we had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed, but it certainly seemed like they had plenty of hostesses on hand—three of them, even during a not-so-busy hour. Once we were seated, the service was prompt; our server was attentive, friendly, and patient. She took our order correctly, but unfortunately, it was wrong from the kitchen—not her fault, of course, and it happened twice. On the plus side, the prices were reasonable, and the food was delicious. We enjoyed the fried scallops, fried shrimp, and French fries. The mixed drink was also excellent! I would consider returning, but I might avoid ordering steak next time.

The experience was quite nice. I ordered the chicken with tater tots and really enjoyed it. There were many options available. However, the waitress didn’t come back until we had plenty of time to look over the menu, which was a bit frustrating. Unfortunately, our first choices were not available, so we had to spend some extra time selecting new options. The view was beautiful, making for an overall positive experience.

This restaurant is definitely one of my favorites. The food is incredible, there is outdoor seating on the patio, the portion sizes are generous, and it's a perfect place to catch the sunset. The shrimp tacos are bursting with flavor and very satisfying.

I should have realized by now that many waterfront restaurants focus more on their location and ambiance than on the quality of their food. We went there on a Sunday evening...

The service at this restaurant is outstanding. The staff is friendly, possesses a great sense of humor, and maintains a positive attitude. The atmosphere is lively and inviting. The draft beers during happy hour are delightful, and the food is quite good. I especially loved the flavorful onion rings.
