Sportsman's Lounge - Springfield

2nd trip here since they reopened. Again I ordered the BPT hoping it was better than the last one I received. My friend an I ordered the full size 14oz. He had fries, I had tots. We received pur and the appearance was obviously different sizes, not really that important. I wanted the flavor and crispy coating again. Flavor was very good, meat was thick not overly pounded out. The breading, nope definitely not crunchy. So overall it was good, probably really good to some. I would order it again even knowing it would probably come out this way again. He agreed good flavor but needed more crunch.

The breaded tenderloin sandwich was excellent! Service was great, and the beers were cold. It was a little loud, and hard to hold a conversation due to the louder group sitting at the table next to us. We travel thru the area, and will be back!

Remodeled and updated more open and spacious. Pork tenderloin was good but has lost a step. Hope they add the specials like they used to have. There meatloaf sandwich was delicious.

This place is iconic. New owners have kept the same hometown bar vibe and added a great menu and drink options.

Great service, hot food and plenty of it. Love the remodeling job that has been done. So glad to see that it was back open again.
