Boone's - Springfield

Came to eat in Boone on Saturday morning after a bachelor party this weekend, with my friends. The service was fast! We sat fast and we got our urgently needed food and drinks right away. Friendly staff, clean tables and comfortable dining area. Pancakes were nice and fluffy and the waffle fry/gravy combo has fed my hunger. Coffee, pancakes and the frits plus a coke, all for the big price of $13. I think the name of our server was Ashley. Thank you for taking care of us!

Drove 80 miles to eat there. Two times ago. We only had the problem that the waiter did not write our order and yes, it was wrong. He took the wrong order out of our account. Good place to eat always packed for a reason? Food: 4/5

The best place for breakfast at weekends!!! Also best pancakes in spring! As overnight staff at a local hospital my staff and I always needed a place to relax and eat after our shift. On weekends, Boons will open at 8 a.m. for breakfast with a full open bar. I cannot stress enough how good the food is and how amazing the prices are! Get pancakes, chicks, cookies and Gravy and maybe a pitcher of Mimosas! The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast. Boons is definitely one of my favorite places to get a bite and a few drinks to relax after a hard layer. Very recommended!!!

I need you to close your eyes and imagine that friend or family member in your life that fits this description: well-intentioned, disorganized, and apologetic. Basically, the less time you spend in your personal space, the better. Do you have your person? Good! Me too. This person is referred to as a Boone during the review. Boone really wants you to come home to him; He reminds you that so many people were already visiting, just not you. Real scheduling conflicts come up, they will make half truths and go directly into the country of faith. Everything. Everything to go to Boone's house because we all know what's happening. Boone was on his A game and somehow managed to get you into a corner that you couldn't escape. Okay. Maybe. Maybe this time he'll surprise you. Maybe his house will be tied up, maybe he respects your limits when you say you have to go, and maybe this time you will have a pleasant experience. Bahhhh! No. You show up, Boone tries to clean up the room so you have a place to sit. A corner of the couch appears and this seems to fulfill Boone's expectations to be an acceptable host. He speaks, speaks, speaks, speaks. You need to go to the bathroom, but on the preview of the living room, you do not want to see the main event in the bathroom. Cross the legs, sit down, throw out some controversial topics to see if Boone will shortcut the visit. No. Your head turns to swim eyeballs (due to the bathroom situation), and you have the imminent feeling to flee. If you move your weight back and forth, you will find yourself on the couch perched, just like a bird that will fly. Did Boone notice? No. You stay longer than you wanted, you feel moving, and you're cheating because you've allowed Boone's court privileges. Never again! No more!!!! Phew. They made it through the visit and praised never to come back. The End.Yes, this place felt like the small scenario I just painted for you in words. The staff was friendly, but clearly overwhelmed. I'm pretty sure they knew we were coming, just like our hostess Boone. However, the corresponding adjustments were not made to ensure a pleasant experience for all. I'm not sure what's going on behind the scenes, I'm somehow betrayed and spending the benefit of the declaration of doubt. If there is a waiting period, the food is better hot, appealing and fresh. My food hasn't met these three categories. In fact, I am sad to say that two of the three things tasted in my meal as if they were dug and served from the back of the freezer. I've never had hat-brows that tasted Stale before. I'm not even sure how it's done to be honest. The same thing with the toast was just bad. All that is to say when you have the right people (which seemed to be the case), you need to give them the right tools to be successful. Please taste your food from time to time to make sure it tastes great! You can dress Hash Browns who are not homemade! You can see that the pancakes are not boiled and they do not have a golden brown shade. The same judgment you would use if you could feed yourself and should be on what you feed the public. Don't do it, do it better!

Excellent staff and a great atmosphere. We have not been to Boone's in probably 5 years and it was a great visit. The bartenders and waiters were extremely attentive and friendly. The drink prices were excellent.
