Safire Lounge - Springerville

This is one of favorite restaurants! Love the history it has with John Wayne. The friendly staff and amazing all the food) green chili gravy! The local lady that owns the restaurant is one of the hardest working people I seen in a long time.

I've tried this place a few times and every time it's been a bad experience. Everything from poor service to wrong orders and there's always a ridiculous wait. Wait to get your order taken, wait for food, wait then track down your waitress for the bill, wait to pay, even when it's not busy. I try to give the benefit of the doubt but this last visit was the end. My mom is allergic to meat. She ordered tostadas and made sure to say no meat she can't eat it. The waitress wrote it down. My mom took a bite and her throat started closing, they put meat on it! Thank God my mom ended up being ok but it could have ended tragically. While the waitress did apologise and offered new food I won't be going back.

Great little place server very friendly if a little slow. had a group of 6 and had a good meal. I had grilled garnel plate and the garnels were perfect. the rice was tasty and tasty, not clumpy as so many Mexican restaurants. will be back in springerville.

Clean, quiet, awesome atmosphere and happy helpful staff. The food is fresh and made to order and its all good with decent portions you wont leave hungry. Start with free fresh chips and home made salsa refillable upon request and sit back and enjoy. They will treat you like family and you wont have to do dishes.
