Bidra med feedbackThis place is truly a hidden gem. You can enjoy views of the park from the overlooks. We perched on a rock during sunset, and it was absolutely stunning. It's perfect for walking your dog or just enjoying a nice hike. There are some steep sections along the way, but reaching the top makes it all worthwhile! You'll come across plenty of fascinating bugs, plants, and wildlife. Make sure to look out for the swallows at dusk as they swoop in to catch insects.
Attention dog owners! This spot is a heavenly retreat for your furry friends near Zion. Just across the bridge, many dogs run freely without leashes. There are lovely sandy trails perfect for hiking, but be careful—the sand can get quite hot, so you and your pup will probably want to head straight to the river for a refreshing swim. We enjoyed over two hours of cooling off and playing in the water!
A delightful place with breathtaking views! We visited Springdale on the first day of the off-season at Zion and decided to explore the town a little. I’m so glad we took the time to wander, as we would have missed the chance to skip stones in the river or relax on one of the benches that overlook it. Nature is beautiful, and this park is a wonderful homage to it.
We love this little park. A hidden gem in Springdale. We go there for a picnic every time we go to Zion National Park. It has access to the virgin river where we go and hunt for frogs and play in the water. Lots of space to sprawl out and relax. Not a lot of picnic tables. But the park is rarely very busy, so they are almost always available.
Lovely park with mountain river views. Park has picnic areas restrooms. Dogs must stay on leash in the park but can be off leash once crossing the bridge. Beautiful scenery numerous trails to enjoy.
