Winco Foods - Spring Valley Lake

Very rude young lady at the self checkout today (Aug 7th, 2024) at 3pm. For someone that only directs traffic for Cash or Card machines, she was very opinionated and very rude to a child trying to put cash in the machine. Then rude to an elderly person. Once I was checking out I asked for a bag for my purchase and she pointed to the end of the registers on where I could find and bag my stuff. So after I reloaded my cart and went there to bag (one bag) she rudely informed me I couldn't do this here (where she instructed me to go). This would have been avoided by one simple act of kindness and retrieved a bag and brought it over like every other Winco does. Her lack of customer service should be a reason to find her a different position where she doesn't interact with others. I also, found a box cutter (razor)while shopping in the water aisle and returned it to another young lady placing items on the shelf. Once I handed her the razor, she rolled her eyes at me instead of saying thank you. This will not be a location where I bring our business to any further.

WINCO is a convenient multi-hour grocery store. It provides all the brands that you are a custom to and lots of similar WINCO branded items that are much cheaper. It also has self served spices, candies, rice, flour, pasta, candy's, and other items in bins. The deli offers fish, shrimp, and other seafood, including crab and assorted meats in the deli. You can fill up your five gallon container for $0.30. Payment is through cash and ATM only; no credit cards. There is a self check-out area.

Its Usually a good experience shopping here. Last night was especially nice because of greeting I received from the young man working security. Beautiful smile and personality. He made us feel ias though we mattered and unlike the other security personal he made want to go back shopping there.

If I could give them a 0 I would I waited 30 minutes for them to give me my pizza not to make it but to give it to me they made it and didn’t give it to me and if you think there probably was a big line no there was no line.
