Uncle Rusty's Diner - Spokane

The chicken fried steak had a texture and flavor that seemed to be more like something beyond meat, or unlike any meat I've ever encountered. The gravy was too thin and watery; at first, I mistook it for chowder.

I highly recommend Uncle Rusty's Diner. I ordered the country fried steak, and it was absolutely delicious. The service is wonderful since it's a family-owned business, and the staff there are fantastic! I will definitely be returning!

Food was fantastic. We found it on a roadtrip by accident looking for a different and establishment and took a chance on it. The steak and eggs were all cooked to perfection. Service and staff were on point and beyond friendly. My Girlfriend and i have decided to make it a regular stop on our trips to Eastern Washington.

Visiting from Australia I have seen this sort of place in movies and on tv shows. The food is made from scratch, the staff are friendly and fun (even told me an Australian joke to make me feel at home ? and the place looks like the quintessential American diner with comfortable booths and a long counter. The team here just want to make sure you enjoy the experience and they do a great job! Thanks again ?

Stopped on our way home. Great food and service. They even bake their own bread. Plenty of parking with easy acess to I90. Dated but clean. 100% family run business very friendly. They also serve a brunch menu.
