Ak Asian - Spokane Valley

My boyfriend and I ordered food for pickup and I was kind of concerned how quickly the order was ready, and then concerned because there weren't many customers in the restaurant. Thankfully, my first instincts were completely off.The restaurant is a cute little place that felt very inviting with a touch of nostalgia. The food was delicious, the portions were good especially for the cost, and everything was hot and tasted fresh. My favorite part was the egg foo young. Also, weird compliment but I'm happy there were actually almonds on my almond fried chicken. Since moving to Spokane Valley I've been looking for good Chinese food and this is my new favorite spot. Hopefully AK's is consistent because I will definitely be coming here again the next time I need my Chinese food fix. Special Kudos to the hostess/waitress who was there tonight because she was really nice. She made me feel welcome from the second I walked in and is the reason I will be coming in person next time!

This is old fashioned American Chinese. I really think they do it the best. Fair prices and big servings. I loved finding the celery pork chow mein from my childhood being just as I remember it. I've never been disappointed!

Decent food at a fair price. I was there on a Tuesday evening so it was slow and service was quick. I had a number 5 and egg foo young appetizer.

Food and service were outstanding! 10 out of 10 recommend! I will be going back as soon as possible. This is hands down my favorite restaurant right now.
