Groucho's Deli - Spartanburg

I had lunch on November 4, 2022, with a couple of friends from North Carolina after a shopping trip, and I was really disappointed that I chose this restaurant! Our meals were bland and nothing special at all. Both of my friends said their dishes were not tasty at all! It was quite embarrassing.

I was really disappointed tonight. I ordered my wife's salad bowl and it had brown lettuce, no cheese, and just a few pieces of meat. The other vegetables looked like they were past their prime. I don't think I'll be looking forward to going back. I usually eat there often, but I think I'll wait until they get their act together before I return.

On my way to work, I sometimes stop by Groucho's, where I'm always welcomed by a friendly and energetic young staff. I usually order their (I might have the name slightly wrong) Dipper sandwich, which is a hot ham and turkey sandwich served on a roll with a dipping sauce and a bag of chips. The sandwiches are tasty, but I feel they are a bit overpriced for what you get. The dining area could use some improvements, but it reflects how long they've been in business and caters to the college crowd with a designated study section on one side. Overall, Groucho's is a decent spot to grab a sandwich to go, and it's a great way to support local businesses.

I strongly advise against ordering from their website; my experience was terrible and they completely messed up my order. I felt abandoned by their service. I won't be using them again.

I ordered food and picked it up, and it was ready when I arrived. The atmosphere was fantastic!
