Elbow East - Southold

ElbowEast is permanently closed. A new restaurant, Little Fish NOFO, has opened at the location.

They boast the best steak on Long Island and they are not kidding. Had the Surf and Turf (marinated) and it was fantastic.

Elbow East opens up with a waitress more interested in the Instant Lotto Board than waiting on the customers. Where do they get the nerve to charge $36 entrees with a flimsy paper napkin and silverware that looks and feels as if it came from the Dollar Store . They must think that we 're all hicks. Shame on the owner!

Very mediocre food and service. The flounder was frozen and tasteless and mealy. My God the idea that any restaurant situated in this part of Long Island, literally right next to the Bay and the Atlantic and the LI Sound would not know how to prepare fish is astounding to me. The service was not adequate either they completely forgot to submit my order to the kitchen, and so my meal came out 10 15 minutes after everyone else's in my party. Shockingly mediocre. How in the world this place could merit any stars is beyond me. Seriously! I am no prima dona foodie. But jeezlouise, restaurants in Eastern LI next to the water need to know how to prepare fish!
