Duffy's Famous Fish & Chips

My family and I head up to Southampton once a year for a little getaway Each time we are there we pick a new place to eat. We have heard many good things about Duffys fish and chips so we decided to give in a try.To be honest, from the moment we tried calling in our order for pick up, we were disappointed. They didn't have half of the things available we wanted. They weren't even sure if they had hot sauce, they had to go and check.We ended up ordering our second choices, as we still wanted to give them a try.15-20 minute wait for pickup, no problem! We arrived 15 minutes later, and then had to wait another 10 minutes in line, while the customers in front of us put in their order. Our food was sitting there the whole time in a bag getting all nice and soggy. We ended up eating what was edible in the car as we didn't want to waste anymore time.The fish was soggy, the fries were cold. The amount of coleslaw was not a side of coleslaw, it was not even enough for one full bite.Maybe a separate line for people picking up their orders would be a good idea?Maybe an update on the website stating shortages would be a good idea?For the amount of money we spent on buying 3 meals, we definitely felt we got ripped off.Unfortunately we will not be returning customers.

I Used to love Duffy's.Asked for 2 pieces of fish and a large coleslaw. Told they couldn't do that. Ended up with a 2 piece dinner with fries, that we didn't want. Coleslaw came in the same sontainer as they serve tarter sauce. Condiment size. Won't be back.

Great light battered crispy fish, plus excellent fries. They were very busy Thursday evening and we were unable to get in for dinner, so we returned Friday for lunch and we weren't disappointed, very impressed.

Best fish chips we’ve had in a long time perfectly cooked visited duffys a few times while we where in town. The Baja fish Tacos where amazing My son had a burger too and loved it. Staff are so friendly efficient So nice to see the manager coming out chatting to everyone too. We went on a Friday and they had open mic night was awesome to hear amazing live music

We both ordered the haddock and chips . The haddock was good but I have have had better seafood. Menu is a little misleading as the price listed was with a coupon, have to read the fine print. We might return when in the area.
