Bidra med feedbackAs for the food we tried, the dhokla was soft, fluffy, and delicious, while the Gulab Jamun was easily the best sweet dish I've ever had. However, the standout was the super special Jalebi. We couldn't help but want to try everything we saw being served to other customers around us. Once we were back home, opening the boxes of sweets transported us to a different world. The flavors lingered in our memories for hours afterward. This place is definitely a winner - you can't go wrong with anything on the menu!
Panji Sweets is a charming taste of India nestled in the heart of London. This petite sweet shop offers a wide variety of traditional sweets, snacks, and savories. One unique feature is their cart-style serving area where they whip up delicious Jalebis right in front of you. The prices range from 3.99 to 7.49, and the portions are quite generous. With a diverse selection of snacks and an extensive array of sweets bursting with mouth-watering Indian flavors, Panji Sweets is a delightful culinary experience. I always enjoy my visits here, as I not only get to indulge in delicious treats but also learn more about Indian culture through engaging conversations with the staff. I highly recommend trying their Jalebi and Kaju roll, which are personal favorites of mine. Whether you find yourself in Southall or nearby, a visit to Panji Sweets is a definite must for a taste of authentic Indian culinary delights.
After indulging in pizzas, pastas, and burgers in London, we were craving authentic Gujrati snacks. Luckily, we found Panji Sweets. We tried dhokla, Khandavi, and Patra, all of which were delicious and reminiscent of the flavors we find in India. We also enjoyed Dhokla chat and bhel puri, which were full of the expected spices and served quickly. I couldn't resist getting some Jalebis to go. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
So I'm visiting London and everyone has told me to visit Southall sure why not but I want to eat some good food here as well. So I ask my native friends to take me to a place that has authentic indian flavors and hello, here I am. <br/ <br/ When you walk in you know it's so authentic. There's a small trolly outside the shop which serves Jalebis. The aroma and everything. Oh man. <br/ <br/ You've got to try the Gulaab Jamuns! Most I've had in America have been overly sweet but this. this was on point. The perfect amount of sweetness. <br/ <br/ So onto the Snacks. We ordered Samosa, Kachori, a samosa combo chat, aPanji Spl chaat meal and a bread pakora and split several of the dipping dishes between 5 of us. We ordered 5 dishes and boy they creep up on you. I was so full by the end of the meal. I have low spicy tolerance and it was probably more of that speaking. I'm terrible at remembering names but there was this one sweet that stood out that was a big circular shaped (I believe ghevar . Anyway if you figure out which one that is you should try it : Big hit with our table.
Am trying to control my weight but can't resist the taste of Panji. I love the Kala Jamun, Jalebi and their Habshi Halwa the most .<br/ <br/ I have visited this place several times and it has never failed to meet my expectations. I always eat here whenever I visit London and it's quite a way from where I normally stay but it's worth it. Although its always packed with people, the friendly staff somehow find time to give you all their attention.<br/ <br/ Jalebis here are so flavoursome and delicious, I will keep coming back for sure.
