Bidra med feedbackFirst off , Very loud for my dad that has hearing aids that's saying something. Haddock milineese was a tomatoe fish soup at best . Lasagna was dry on par with low end frozen microwave entrees. Lobster ravioli seemed to be a kraft Mac sauce on frozen bits of lobster?! Who knows . The bread was very good and pre packet butter top notch
Took a long time to be waited on. I saw other tables receive a free sample of some appetizer that we didn't get from our waitress. Very tight space around tables. The potato entrusted seafood cakes were hard to eat because of the Potato strings and not much seafood in them but they were tasty. The swordfish was delicious but very thin. The duck was dry not much flavor, way over cooked, more bones than meat. Evening was easy over priced for what we received.
Gerardi’s was on our list for over 2 years and finally made it, and it was worth the wait! Would 100% go back, and only a handful of Mid Cape restaurants are in that category for us.Highlights of our early dinner: Our server, Dominic was friendly, quick and accommodating. We went with our menu choices, didn’t ask for any recommendations and he didn’t try upselling any specials or desserts once, which was much appreciated. Crab cakes were generous in size and unique in flavor and design with the crispy potatoes and sauce on bottom. Our 3&4 yo kids loved the meatballs and they’re picky so that’s an award itself. Chicken picatta was super rich while also very light with the crispy risotto on the side. Short rib pappardelle was rich with unique flavors (never had anything similar to it).The place got super busy by the time we left but service kept up with the crowd, we didn’t experience less quality or longer wait times.Should’ve taken some food pictures but we were starving. ?Dining with young children might get challenging as the restaurant has two single stall bathrooms. We didn’t have to wait once (lucky us), but I see how that could be frustrating with toddlers needing to wait for potentially minutes to use the restroom.
Love this cozy restaurant. Get a booth by the window if you can. Potato crusted crab cake is delicious. Haddock Milanese and raviolis with meatball even better. Food, service and table were most enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back.
Only thing I enjoyed than the food was the Young Women that work there!!Tap on a clip to paste it in the text box.
