The Grill Lounge - South Tyneside

I recently had one of the best lamb curries I've had in a long time at this restaurant. I highly recommend it. Thank you to Ziggy and the team for a great meal.

The restaurant provided excellent service, with very clean and courteous staff who presented the dishes in a professional manner.

The food was good, but it was disappointing to discover a higher priced menu being offered at 50% off after traveling a long distance. It was not mentioned on the website or Facebook marketing that there would be a different price menu or missing items for the offer. I would not recommend falling for this deceptive tactic.

I’ve had to change this review. Was a 5 star but it’s gone a bit down hill. Breakfast and menu has gone more expensive but so has everywhere else. We need to toast the bread. Not put them in a pan. It was soggy Yea was great. Tomatoe was green still lol . Mushrooms undercooked. It is what it is. But deffo gone downhill. I will be back for the lunch menu. And see what ray has to bring to the table.
