The Hotplate Cafe - South Shields

Was from london and after a terrible breakfast somewhere different, have to say I was more than impressed by not only the breakfast, but service returned. the personal was so beautiful. I would recommend everyone and the price is so cheap in comparison to what I am used to paying. would be all the way up only for breakfast 10/10

Go in a few times a week for the full English breakfast, which is absolutely delicious (especially the black pudding) and at a great price. staff very friendly and friendly.

After popping in to the Customs House in South Shields only to be met with terrible service and promptly leaving we looked for another Cafe and ended up here. It is a no frills 'old school ' cafe but clean, welcoming, great food at excellent prices. Forget your chain coffee shops and so called bistros selling cheap frozen fodder at inflated prices. Go to this place, behind the Metro station in town centre. Excellent.
