Bidra med feedbackThis is a busy Green King Pub. I ordered the burger. The bread bunker was rocky and edible. I have no idea what they had done to the burger, it was small and shaken.
Nice little pub with good pub dug. Some decent vegan options on the menu including vegan fish n chips, vegan Jackfruit enchilada, ugly burgers and mushrooms n ale pie
We recently visited and ordered the Mexican bean burgers and vegan fish 'n'chips. Unfortunately, the Mexican bean burger was disappointing as it was muddy in the middle and was dry outside. Not good. The chips and salsa dip were fine, but it would have been nice to have cooked homemade chips instead of oven. The vegan fish 'n' chips was tasty and reminded me of a Vbites fish fillet and the muddy peas was a good companion to the dish. Although we didn't get dessert on this occasion, we tried the chocolate and coconut cake from another Greene King pub operation that offers the same menu. The cakes were deliciously rich and pampering and I would highly recommend. In summary, the nets need improvement, but the deserts are great and it is good that a separate vegan menu is available so that it eats a good place for all together.
This charming little pub offers a delightful selection of pub fare. They feature some noteworthy vegan options on the menu, including vegan fish and chips, jackfruit enchiladas, a chick-less burger, and a mushroom and ale pie.
We recently dined at the restaurant and ordered the Mexican bean burger and the vegan fish and chips. Unfortunately, the Mexican bean burger fell short; it was mushy in the center and dry on the outside, which was quite disappointing. The chips and salsa dip were decent, but I would have preferred homemade chips instead of the oven-baked variety. On a brighter note, the vegan fish and chips were flavorful, reminiscent of a Vbites fish fillet, and the mushy peas made for a nice complement to the dish. Although we didn’t have dessert during this visit, we did sample the chocolate and coconut torte from another Greene King pub with the same menu. The torte was decadently rich and truly enjoyable, so I would highly recommend it. In summary, while the main courses could use some improvement, the desserts are excellent, and it's great to see that a separate vegan menu is available, making it a nice spot for everyone to dine together.
