Bidra med feedbackWORST SERVICE EVER! In fact no service at all. Saw their online ad and walked eight blocks to order take out, which they advertised, for myself and my wife. I'd heard good things about their food but still haven't tasted it. They refused me service because they decided they were only filling dine-in orders tonight. So I walked the eight blocks back.Unbelievable! At this point, I would sooner eat a crust of bread I found in a gutter than ever think of patronizing them again. It ain't just about food.
Arrived over an hour before close with full intention of being out long before they closed. Unfortunately, since apparently our waitress was MIA, no one even asked for our order until we had been sitting there for 30 minutes and had to ask for someone to take it.It's a small restaurant, so it's not like we were just going unnoticed. We were being actively ignored. Luckily, once we were served, the food was fantastic, so no complaints there. We did manage to get out about 10 minutes before close, and tipped out of guilt more than anything, but we won't be coming here again strictly because of the service.
All of our food was delicious! The Saturday special was very tasty and the kids enjoyed the cheese burgers. The nachos were huge. The carne asada was tender and very affordable for a large crowd. The wait time was a little long but worth it. 5 on the food and 4 on the wait time.
Located near the old mall area of the island, this hole in the wall place has some great options for everyone in the family no matter what you like.There are mexican, seafood, and Italian options along with some American staples but the standout was the blackened fish tacos. Plenty of zest and flavor and a great take on the coastal seafood item.Waiters and staff were on point and our waitress, Jessica I believe, was outstanding and had a great hospitable air that really made the atmosphere feel like you were eating a home cooked meal with friends.All in all, a perfect experience when it comes to family dining and well worth the wait if you happen to be at the Island. Keep it up!
Food was real good. Enjoyed the stuffed crab. Disappointed that they didn’t offer locally caught fish. They only had Basa catfish from Southeast Asia (farm raised? ! This was the second restaurant on the island that served Basa. Others had flounder and redfish.
