Bidra med feedbackHad the Festive Afternoon Tea today, it was lovely, certainly one of the best afternoon teas we have had. The staff were friendly, the venue was clean and welcoming, we had party hats on our table to get us in the festive mood. Would definitely recommend.
Disappointed !!! Is an understatment ..... Food luke warm, cold seating and unaccomodating/unfriendly kitchen staff..... There are much friendlier warmer more accommodating cafes that will welcome your custom
Small tea shop in centre of village with plenty of nearby parking. Clean and tidy. Good choice on the menu. We went in at lunch time. Everything on the menu you would expect. Meat and veg, Fish. Vegan, Paninis. We had the all day breakfast, which was perfect.
Located next to the antique shop, this quaint cafe offers a variety of indulgent treats perfect for a rainy summer day. Although we only popped in for a drink, the homemade cakes and savory dishes looked temptingly delicious, so we plan to return to try them out another time.
Three of us visited Lincoln's for lunch and found the service to be excellent. However, two of the meals we ordered fell short of our expectations. The beef in the steak pie was tough and required a lot of chewing, while the Mushroom Stroganoff lacked seasoning and taste. On the other hand, the Jacket Potato with beans, cheese, and salad was perfect. When we raised our concerns to the waitress, she acknowledged them and said they would be passed on. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, no discount was offered for the subpar meals. After requesting a discount, we were surprised to be told that no one else had complained that day. This led to a confrontation, where ultimately only a small refund was given. Our dissatisfaction continued when a colleague dismissed our complaints and offered no apology or discount for the poor quality of the food. In the end, one of my friends received a full refund, but the lack of empathy and customer service left us all shocked and disappointed. We won't be returning to Lincoln's after this experience.
