Maverick's Hideaway - South Lyon

The young man who delivered our pizza was very polite. The pizzas are really tasty. We ordered from this place when it was called Dolly's. If I could offer one suggestion for improvement, it would be to use fresh pineapple like they did at Dolly's, as that was absolutely delicious. The pineapple on our pizza this time seemed a bit lacking. It was still good, but it didn't have the same vibrant flavor that fresh, large pieces of pineapple would provide. Just my thoughts. We'll definitely be ordering again. Oh, and the 7 pepper crust is also incredibly tasty—I completely agree!

When I order, it's always for delivery, and they are very punctual. On busier days, it can take 30-45 minutes, but I usually get my order in just 15-20 minutes, and it's always hot. My favorite moment is opening the box and pulling out the first slice — every slice is just as good as the last. The cheese is incredibly cheesy, reminiscent of the cheese you see in Ninja Turtle cartoons. I often have to separate the pieces with a spatula, but that's not a complaint at all. Now, that’s what I call pizza! And the grinders are huge! Plus, the prices are reasonable. Keep up the great work, Dolly's!

This is definitely one of the best places, not just in South Lyon, for thin crust pizza! The ingredients are fresh, and the pizza has a perfect crispiness. The quality of the fresh ingredients shines through in the salads as well. We sampled both the antipasto and Greek salads, and they were very delicious. The tossed Italiano salad was somewhat unclear in its description. The original and garlic breadsticks are fantastic, though I wouldn’t recommend the Cajun breadsticks. We also tried several of their signature pizzas, and here’s how they ranked for us: Deluxe Hawaiian, Original Greek Sesame with Pizza Sauce, Grilled Chicken Parmesan, Original Greek Sesame with Greek Dressing, Supreme Pizza, Meat Dresser, and then Double Cheese and Double Pepperoni, which were quite rich. Dolly's is exceptional for thin crust pizza!

The pizza and the calzone are good. I'm going back. Their active substance selection/combinations are different from most.

Great food and great customer service. everything tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection, i suggest the blazin bacon mac and cheese and the BCST specialty pizza!
