Wheatsheaf - South Lakeland

We have just felt after home from an absolutely delicious meal that we had to write this review if they love a good roast beef, with extra tasty veg the best gravy ever, don't forget a super big Yorkshire doll, then this is the one place to go!

This was our second visit to the wheatsheaf and it was an excellent weekend. the food, rooms and personal were brilliant it was only rainy, rainy and rainy. but an ideal location to explore the southern lakes and the invite in windere and keswick

I hadn't visited this restaurant in a while since it was closed for several months. But it's back and better than ever! We came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The dining experience was excellent, in a tasteful setting, with great service. We left as very satisfied customers.

I thought the food was awful. I had a burger which was very industrial. It tasted like rubber. For £16 I expected a home made crafted burger. My wife had the fish cakes which were equally industrial and tasteless.
