Starbucks - South Elgin

I regularly come to this starbucks, the atmosphere is usually moderate. The barista naomi has plesently elevated my experience here, she's kind, easy to talk, and willing to accommodate a request. She does the above and beyond!

15min waiting to attend, just one person in front of us, then when finally ask for an ice coffee, says there is no ice, so bad

I stop at this location pretty regularly and the employees are always polite and cheerful. But I felt inclined to write a review today because I was so charmed by something that happened this morning. A family came in shortly after I had and it was one of the little girl's birthday. The woman behind the register (sorry I didn't catch her name) was so delightful for them, chatting to the birthday girl and even giving the kids a special treat. It put a smile on my face seeing how happy the kids were, sure brightened up this cold, wet, windy day.

The worst! Taking orders and not making them, sitting in their phones teenagers !!! Hire some normal people,

This Starbucks kinda sucks. I keep trying it, keeps sucking. Today my mom and I each got out normal drink (same one, everyday) so we know what they’re supposed to taste like. These tasted like milk, no coffee. Asked her to remake mine, still sucked!
