Bidra med feedbackThis is my favorite. When we have the craving, we come from Elkhart for the tofu and veggie egg rolls. Was the best part of South Bend.
I've been going here for well over 10 years . It's been a great place. This place used to be run by a couple, and it was great. However, in the last few months, the cash register is run by this young man, and I'm not sure if they have the same cooks, but he food used to be great and to put it simply its just not that great anymore. I bought some pork fried rice, and I am not exaggerating when I tell you that all the meat was pure chunks of fat, and I even found 2 pieces of bone almost lost a tooth. This is the second time this has happened since this new guy has been there. I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt but I'm sad to say that after all these years I won't be going to this place anymore.
For those of you looking for an authentic taste of Chinese food, this is the restaurant to go to owned and operated by a Chinese family. I recommend the general tsos chicken and bourbon chicken. These two items are cooked just right, with the bourbon chicken having a sweet teriyaki-like taste and the general tsos having a sweet and spicy taste. I will be a regular at this place for years.Parking: A nice little plaza to shop inKid-friendliness: A candy machine in the dining area
The food isn't as good as it used to be. I used to get food here quite often. Haven't been here in years. This time it was just ok. And I couldn't find shrimp toast on the menu. They used to have the best shrimp toast. I was disappointed they don't offer it anymore. At least not through Door Dash. The fried rice is still good.
This used to be my favorite, go to Chinese place. Not anymore. They changed their “dumplings” to potstickers; their chicken doesn’t even taste like chicken. I ordered the “Two favorites”(Bourbon Chicken and General Tso’s) and Black Pepper Chicken. ALL THREE tasted like fish and were overcooked, not to mention the prices are ridiculous. I will be finding another Chinese place and won’t ever speak the amazing things I once did about this place again. If you want overpriced, overcooked, fishy chicken and potstickers out of a 5lb bag that could be made better at home, by all means this is the place for you.
