Aghina Cafe And - Sorong

I'm at the Swiss-Belhotel for a few days and thought the food in a place would be nice. This place is about a 15-minute walk with Google Maps. I enjoyed my meal very much. This place is very clean, the male staff was excellent (they had both neat restaurant shirts on), the food was great and they were very helpful. Probably go back tomorrow, but the reviews (which mention different meals) first read and know what I want to try. Splendid!

It was the first place and first time for me to try papeda, and I think it was okay. It's better to mix papeda with the yellow sauce fish, or otherwise it wouldn't taste anything, just some gooey slimey texture. The fish were good, and we also had some veggies on the side. The price was okay, we spent around 900k for 9 people. I think it was the fish that were pricey. The papeda itself was only 15k. The place is cozy with its colorful furniture, and looks really clean.

The food is great especially for dada tuna and nasi kuning. The restaurant is clean and the staff is responsive. However, the serving time is a lil bit slow

Traditional food from Sulawesi and Papua, taste so delicious. Nice!

It's location is not on the main street, behind the gereja ayam. You won't see it from the main street. They offer food of eastern Indonesia mainly, including Manado food. They are halal. I ordered papeda with ikan kuah kuning (fish in yellow broth), and tumis kangkung bunga pepaya. This was the first time I ate papeda. I thought it won't make you full but I was wrong. The food tasted good to me. The price was mid up. They don't put prices in the menu and I was bit surprise when they charged me IDR 30K for a glass avocado juice. But other food price was OK.
