Bidra med feedbackWe stayed 5 nights and would have stayed longer if not for commitments.... A great place to stay, it gets no more central than this, with good opportunities to meet people from Songkla: the very nice and helpful owner and his team, mostly consisting of students who study English and want to improve it here with the guests and 2 cute cats. All you need is available: washing machine, small library and a fully equipped kitchen. The crowning glory was that the owner allowed us to see a movie with his beamer. So cinema included! Thank you. Songkla? Again and again!
A truly tranquil hostel in the midst of Songkhla. If you're searching for a place to truly relax, discover yourself and search your soul, look no further. My gentle longings for love, life and adventure were rekindled in this magical place. It is a place for soul searching and self re-discovery. The owner is full of humility and grace. He reminds me of a long lost uncle of sorts. Full of wisdom, and colorful life experience. An architect by trade, he structured the Hostel to feel like a serene, meditative home-away-from-home. After staying for more than 10 days, I've fallen in love with the atmosphere of Songkhla, the small town vibes, and this hostel.
Very nice stay at Lyn's. Very welcoming atmosphere. Special because there is a community of local students studying English at university who work at the hostel and want to get to know you and practice their English. Location is the center of Songkhla old town, filled with beautiful shophouses, street art, and tons of great food and drink. The bunk bed private room was small but there were plenty of large and attractive shared spaces. We have been traveling Thailand for a month so far and this was one of our favorite stays.
I'm from South Korea and I stayed Lyn's hostel almost 7 days. The first sight of Lyn's was modern traditional. It is because of the main color in the hostel: red, black and white. And these colors are harmoniously combined to show Songkhla's tradition and present. The reason I mentioned about it is the hostel's host has great talent in aesthetic sense. And I heard he designed the space himself. Especially they use items from IKEA which I love. You can find blanket, plates and also knifes from IKEA. Also there are lots of places to take pictures. Especially, the hostel has many red color materials and cute wall paintings even in the toilet. So you could get the pic of the day, definitely! Furthermore, they have many staffs who have a gift for languages. Their staffs can speak Thai, English, Malay, Chinese etc.. I think they gather language
Great hostel with a friendly staff owner. You guys made my stay so easy. Thanks for the recommendations and for your hospitality. Free coffee, tea and water refill. They have a fridge where you can keep your stuff. Also kitchen available to use. Beds are comfortable and room with Fan A/C. Indoor Outdoor common area. Location is perfect. Many restaurants coffee shops around.
