Tae Hiang Aew - Songkhla

Have long heard of this place, but always missed it every time we were in town. This time we checked the restaurant in advance. And hooray! They were open! So we had lunch there two consecutive days. The food was delicious! Clean tasting and simply delicious. This place is more based on its Chinese flair, with its Tom Yum, which contains e.g. spring onion and roasted garlic. But then her southern gang was Som on site. Great quality of all ingredients, reasonable prices and beautiful service. The place fills quickly, so if in doubt, call in front and reserve a table. They also take a Siesta: during the afternoon hours close between lunch and dinner. Good.

Authentic and old style! This restaurant is well known locally. The food was delicious, fresh seafood. The waitresses were not talkative but gave great service. Not that pricey. Located on an old town street so easy to find and could walk around to see this street afterward. A parking place is not available. Good to try local restaurant like this.
