Bidra med feedbackI’ve been to Cala Bona server all times over the past 2 years and have visited Bonanza on 3 of those occasions. I found Caroline very abrupt and damn right rude on all of those visits. The first time I thought she may just be having an off day, so returned a few days later, nope she was the same. Fast forward to this year, I like to support local small businesses, so returned. No change I’m afraid, in fact she was probably worse. It may be time to do something else!! You certainly bite the hands that feed you. I will not return. Just to add that one of her responses to comments “Hope you weren’t too parched after your sandwich” shows her attitude, ungratefulness and lack of customer service. Great sandwiches and cakes, so such a shame.
We’ve stayed at Cala Bona hotel 3 times over the years, the last time about just over a week ago (previously we’d last stayed about 10 years ago) having used Bonanza almost every lunchtime previous to this holiday we were delighted to see it’d survived the turmoils of COVID etc. However when I saw Caroline as we passed by and told her how pleased we were that she was still up and running as we used to be regulars she looked us up and down as if we were a bit of a nuisance. It’s shocking how rude she is. Refusing to believe she wasn’t the nice girl we used to deal with years ago we called again for takeaway sandwiches for our journey home, she really is not a nice person, served us grudgingly with €13 worth of bottled water, ham n cheese baguette and tuna on brown bread, very expensive and not particularly enjoyable. Caroline you need to have a word with yourself, I’m sure it would improve your well-being if you were just nicer to people.
Coffee good but, trouble is, if you’re in the hospitality business you really have to be hospitable and like people. Slight problem there! I’m sure she has her reasons but probably best to go do something else! I refrained from asking ‘is it being so happy that keeps you going?!’
They're the best cakes we've ever tasted, and we're very sweet. We don't know what to stay with, but if we know we're going to try again, why is it all exquisite? Plus, the coffee was so!
OK sandwich if a little on the pricey side but mainly the experience was marred by the owner who has a dreadful attitude towards her customers, we were baffled by how rude and abrupt she was and I have since spoken to others who had the same experience. There are plenty of other places nearby where they are actually pleased to see you and you are made to feel welcome so we wont be going back to Bonanza.
