Bidra med feedbackGreat brunch place. Food was delicious, and timely served. ?A nice feature is self service coffe and juice. Flat price and can serve as many times as desired. Go you will enjoy.Food: 3/5
Wanted to like it, as my daughter who lives in Somerville recommended, but really couldn't. Another trying to be foodie place that just ruins what should be a good, straight forward meal. Drinks self service, without enough room. Scones were doughy and bland. Grilled Muffins had paper left on from cooking, so it ended up in food. A big wad of paper as your trying to eat can ruin experience) Ham had funky taste, overpowered ham and cheese omelette Sick of foodie places trying to be foodie. Let the base ingredients speak.
The waitress was right on point and very polite. I do not know if the person who runs Sound bites or owns it, came to our table and was very nice as well. Food was ready and delicious. I ordered coffee, Asparagus and Swiss Omelette with I think it was prosciutto ham? Correct me if I am wrong? And my hubby had the Omelette meat lovers and also the orange juice was amazing! Great place to have breakfast. Their menu has many more options. Can’t wait to go back.
I did a uber delivery and ordered the challah French Toast Stuffed with Ricotta cheese. The ricotta or layer of ricotta between the toast had a very bitter, soap like taste to it. The bitterness greatly overpowered the fruit and maple syrup. Could only take 3 bites due to the rotten taste. The crab bene was good though but bummed about not being able to eat what I paid for. Called them to let them know and they just said, thank you for letting us know
I was very disappointed with my experience here. Parking is a nightmare: there are only a few spots in front and the rest of the streets are permit only. I came here with a large group of 18, and so we split into tables of six. They would not allow a table to be seated until everyone was present. Understandably, it was a very busy time, but I do not recommend dining here with a large group because of the crowdedness (there was a line down the block by 11am) and how long it takes to be seated. While viewing the menu, I noted that specialty pancakes were $10, with $5 to “add whipped cream and fresh fruit”. I ordered just the pancakes, and when the waitress asked, “would you like whipped cream with that?” I responded yes, not thinking it would be an extra charge. When the plate came out, the pancakes had a thin streak of whipped cream and a single orange slice, so again I thought I was paying for just the pancakes. When the bill came out (very sloppily handwritten, by the way), I was charged $15 for the pancakes, with whipped cream and fresh fruit. This was enraging because the waitress did not clearly and properly ask me to upgrade the order, and when it was upgraded against my will, it turned out to be pathetic and, frankly, a rip-off.The consensus in my group is that we will not be dining here ever again, based on our experience with the seating and ordering processes.
