Belvedere Resort Zanzibar - Sokoni

Our stay at Belvedere was more than we could have hoped for. First of all, the location is spectacular: pristine beach, breathtaking sunrises, a very well kept garden full of trees and flowers. The lounge area has a chill and exotic vibe and is perfect for charging your batteries, enjoying the views or reading a book. Each bungalow has its own beach chairs and you can enjoy the sun or just snooze in the shade. Our bungalow was spacious, beautifully decorated and had all the amenities. We were especially impressed with how cool it was both during the day and night, we hardly needed the fan. The restaurant has the best food around, the roasted octopus and mix grill platter are a must try! The breakfast has a wide variety of choices that you can mix to your preference: fresh fruits, yoghurt, eggs, pancakes, coffee, tea, juice etc. The staff is professional, welcoming and helpful, ready to cater to your every need. They arranged for airport transfer and excursions and they assisted us with everything we needed. A special thank you to the hotel manager and restaurant manager, they went above and beyond. All in all, we had a great stay and we would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing place for a few vacations or honeymoons. Not really a party place for a group of friends. Beautiful rooms and plot. Very friendly staff, especially the manager. The food was definitely good, but not amazing, but the prices are good value for money and there are many other restaurants around.

I had the most pleasant experience at the Belvedere restaurant during my holiday in Jambiani, Zanzibar, January 2022. Unfortunately I could not stay at the resort as it was fully booked, but I have eaten there almost every day, lunch or dinner, and the food was amazing and the services were the best. The resort is the most beautiful thing I saw in Jambiani or in Page, I totally recommend it!

My wife and I were at Belvedere Resort for a whole week. The bungalows are clean and very nice with a beautiful outdoor swimming pool and overall local furniture. The staff is super friendly and always asked for our satisfaction. The real highlight was the food. We originally only booked breakfast because we didn't know what to expect, but ended nowhere else at the food for the whole week. Thanks for the relaxed week!

Absolutely stunning place. Living, restaurant and pool were in a great condition. Very recommended to experience the beach bungalow with open showers!
