Iftar At The Ballroom - sohar

This is a very quiet place to eat, nice and cozy, can't say romantic but nice. They offer an outstanding selection of international dishes and juicy steak cuts, attention is flawless, only disadvantage it's a bit pricey, but still recommended.

Steaks are excellent, prawns smelled very fishy not fresh unfortunately

I was there yesterday, but I didn’t like coz: 1/ The steak is bad coz more fat , more oil , and not fresh 2/Over over over price, I mean the steak order not more than 2 RO. 2/More than 30% taxes and services. 3/ Wating time 40-45 minutes (restaurant not busy) 4/ kids meals not worthy for price , taste and cook. 5/ I will not advise friends to try it and I will not repeat this experience again. 6/ I will give 2/10 is fair

This restaurant located in crown plazza hotel Sohar is the most expensive restaurant I have been to in Sohar till now. At first I was expecting to see an spacious restaurant. The interior space is not that much big. The design is smooth and lights are well adjusted to the colors. However it has a humble and cozy finishing The menue is mostly built around meat and stakes There are vegetarian choices They serve drinks And they have some dessert The price range is high , so a dinner for 2 with one salad and dessert and tea will reach 50 rials The portion of salads and main dish is small, but beautifully designed. I can't recommend it for frequent visits But for occasions, it's one of the choices

Every time I stay at this hotel, I want to try the steakhouse in the lobby. This is the best steak house in Oman and anyone who lives in Oman or by Muscat should try. For Wagyu beef it is cheap and quality is 5star! Very recommended!
