Captain Cook - Sofia

Great place for food in Sofia! Not as fantastic as it may look from all the internet photos but satisfying overall! Had only a lunch without drinks so can’t comment on other things.

If you are looking for great seafood, great service and a world of convenience, Captain Cook is for you. Great menu, quick service, brilliant ambience (we had a live singer and musician playing) and fresh catch on display It is attached to Hotel Marinela so if you are staying in here, just pop down and enjoy.

The place is amazing, classy layout, excellent service and just one of the tastiest meals I had in Sofia so far and I would totally recommend if you are in the city to drop by and try it by yourself. Keep up the good work!! Cheers

Excellent restaurant. Very good menue. Nice location. Tables with open windows to the Japanese garden. Prices acceptable.

It is a fancy place with quite reasonable prices compared to the marked nowadays(not too expensive for a fancy restaurant . They managed to find us a table tor two on the spot, but if it is busy is better to make a reservation (especially for a bigger group of people . The service is quite nice (mostly men waiters, which I always believed gives different flavour of class . The food was also quite nice. The bad thing that I saw is that depending on your position and money in the wallet, they are allowing people to smoke in the internal room (wasn 't very cool for me, as I am a non-smoker . Not favourite place, but I believe I will give it another chance.
