Brauerei Christ - Soest

Great restaurant with a nice Beergarden located in the heart of Soest. They have got some veggie dishes on the menue but also a lot veggienisable ones as well. I had pretty good Taleggio stuffed ravioli with pesto. Good food, nice place, I'll come back!

My favorite time to go to Christ is in the summer. The Biergarten is open then and the place is usually packed. Service is a little slow but if you go there with friends it hardly matters. They are very nice and bring you beer that is brewed there but you can also get other beers. Their food is traditional, good, filling but not particularly refined. You will not go hungry but if you are into fine dining you might want to try a place like Pilgrimhaus, which is more urbane. In the winter, the inside of their old inn is very appealing for a beer (or 2 or 3) and some food. Things get a little happier there as the evening progresses and the atmosphere won't disappoint. If you don't come with friends, you might find some new ones there and you might come back again and again for years (like I did).

This place was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad we found it and tried it out. The food was delicious and the service was good but best of all was the surrounding. Gorgeous garden eating area..... with heaters. I would definitely recommend this place.

Food was beautiful, surroundings were historical and interesting. Service was fab and friendly. The Gulashsuppe was really good, schnitzel with zigeuner was good and the beer was good too.

Very Strategically located in Soest and this place serves excellent food and drinks! the visit to this place for dinner was worth it!
