Cortona - Snyderville

The veal (I know, I know) was excellent. Everyone in my party loved their meal.

Everything was very good. We ordered the pasta primavera and the chicken parmesan. The homemade pasta and all the veggies were so good. The tomato sauce/ marinara was the best. Thank you!

100% Italian food! Best Gelato ever! I love the pistachio

We hadn't heard of Cortona, wanted to get a little dessert somewhere and just dropped in. What a pleasant surprise! They make their gelato, cannoli cream, and cakes in house, along with their unrefined whole grain pastas, which we'll try when we visit again and we'll definitely visit again. Their menu states that you might have to wait an hour between courses, so plan ahead, but we didn't have to wait long for desserts, of course. One of the owners, Kat, visited with us and told us a little about their history with the restaurant. She seemed innately pleasant and genuine. (Note: They charge a surcharge if you pay with a credit card, which I'm not opposed to, but you might want to bring your cash.

A few small timing issues detracted from what was delicious food. Assuming the problem isn 't normal , so would try it again.
