I was passing through Smithville enroute to elsewhere, and this delicious restaurant store was so unique memorable that I rerouted myself to come back this way for a second time! Not only is the menu homemade but do are many of the gifts and the refinished furniture by the owner themselves! Multi-talented beautiful souls. This was like going to Mayberry ! The whole atmosphere , seeing, good etc is not manufactured commercialized , not a chain can 't be duplicated. It IS what life is supposed to be. You will only regret not going

I agree w the many high praising comments descriptions from others. Not only is the homemade food mouth wateringly delicious but the unique store/ restaurant is such a cozy, welcoming, memorable atmosphere. It 's not manufactured nor commercialized nor a chain it just can 't be refabricated because it 's so authentic the soul of the owners. It 's a little bit of Mayberry . It 's been 5 months since passing through Smithville I was just thinking about the mouthwatering food that I needed to order some beeswax candles, honey toe jam . I love my travel cup handmade earrings

Amazingly delicious food offered in the CUTEST, charming, cozy, unique atmosphere served by the kindest, friendliest, multi-talented owners! Homemade, mouth watering, family recipe menu served at the bar area or table area that is all painted finished by the remarkable owners themselves who also do repurpose/ refinish furniture pieces!! AND, inside this unique restaurant/ store, is a piano for occasional parties/ events along with personally handmade gift items and other items for sale. Cheryl her husband are just beautiful inside out. I was passing through this town of Smithville now, I can 't wait to get there again to experience the food nostalgic atmosphere- and buy some cute gifts, honey, honey candles, and Toe Jam ! ????? I rate it 5 bees!

Never disappoints, original custom prepared dishes that are delicious, service outstanding!
