Bidra med feedbackAwesome place to be. It's fun, interactive and all around good time. Food vendors only take cash. They do have an ATM on site. Things are kinda pricey. The only downfall is there is not enough shaded seating areas for the picnic tables. Only a few canopies and trees cover some tables the rest are in the sun and it was 91° when we went. I would love to see some more canopies or pavilions added along with some picnic tables. Can't wait to go back.
A perfect way to spend a late summer/early fall weekend! We went today for the opening weekend and it could not have been more perfect. The attention to detail that's put into this event is impressive, and there is so much to do that you could spend an entire day there. The shows are really entertaining, especially the wench show! There's a lot of vendors to choose from as well, and a flower crown is a must have for your fairy/princess outfit! The people who work at the festival are very kind and engaging and they make it such a fun experience! I enjoyed all the games and even tried my hand at archery which was a highlight of the day. The games are very affordable- I think I paid like 5 bucks for 7 arrows at the archery station which I thought was fair. Will be back for another date this fall!
As always, excellent show. Grat music, great performances. Dropped 1 star because they need to upgrade PA systems, hard to hear the shows and food shops not fully stocked.
The Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival in Mt Pleasant PA is a unique, fun, interesting, and memorable experience. The entrance fee was $25 per person, but the parking was free and well organized. You will struggle to find this type of entertainment anywhere else in the area (where else can you experience medieval style living?? . Lots of good food and lots of great entertainment.
A lot of interesting acts. Restrict where men can pee outside because one stage was next to where they were all peeing and you could smell while show was going on.
