We always stop at Subway when we travel, and this one was definitely the best we've ever been to. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and received prompt service. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean—including the women's restroom—and the staff was very friendly. It was the best date experience!
The staff was friendly and made every effort to be accommodating. However, after ordering one of the new hero sandwiches that was supposed to come with fresh mozzarella, I discovered that they were actually using shredded processed cheese. When I inquired about it, I learned that the owner had instructed them not to use fresh mozzarella and also not to accept coupons. The staff was quite apologetic and seemed genuinely upset about this. One of the main reasons for choosing a franchise is to have a consistent experience no matter where you go, and the Subway corporation should take note that this location is clearly not delivering the same experience.
So I came to this subway location specifically because of all the marketing that subway did to promote the new 12 subs on the menu and the fact that today was get a free sub between 10a and 12p. As I walked in I saw that they had a sign that said theywere not participating in the free sub. This is not the busiest location so one would think they would take advantage of all themarketing bring in new folks to check out the new menu. Regardless, I accept that and went to the car where I keep a flyer withthe latest subway coupons. After I got the the register the customer service person said they don't accept coupons. That isridiculous in my opinion. I understand each location independently owned and operated however I think Subway corporate puts outsome great marketing and to not be open to additional business generated by Subway marketing doesn't make sense, in my opinion.The customer service and the food I received was great however this location DOES NOT SUBWAY ACCEPT COUPONS or PARTICIPATE INSUBWAY CORPORATE PROMOTIONS. The reduced star rating is because the policy of not accepting coupons was not clearly identifiableand cause an uncomfortable experience at the register.
Sun 6/26 1230. Staff was courteous. Just a few comments for management. There was no unsweet tea. The young lady said I could get a bottled one but they were all sweet tea. So I talked my husband into taking the sweet tea I already paid for. Heusually gets unsweet too. He said the sweet didn?t taste like brewed tea but a powder or concentrate-not good. Also thelady?s bathroom was dark, one of the lights over the toilet was out. The paper towel dispenser is loose, almost falling offthe wall.
