Bidra med feedbackOne of the best Italian restaurants. They aim to please! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Recommended dishes: Chicken Parmigiana, Chicken Parmesan
So sorry you are closing. I will look for Frankie's international bistro in Plainville.
We went to Parma for a family Christmas dinner two days after Christmas. There were 8 of us and the restaurant was nearly empty. The drinks were watered down, with one person ordering Dewar's on the rocks and receiving what looked like watered down ginger ale. All the drinks looked the same. We waited a long time for the drinks to arrive. The parmigiana dishes were all so bad that none of the three people who ordered them wanted to take them home, leaving them on the table. One person even told the waitress they didn't like it, but nothing was done about it and there was no offer to remove it from the bill. The appetizers were the only thing worth the price that night. We ordered 12 oysters for a dollar each and were told they were fresh that day. However, after all the other appetizers had been delivered, we were informed that the oysters were now questionable and couldn't be served. The waitress was very inattentive, never clearing our plates or offering more drinks. We sat there surrounded by dirty plates finishing our watered down drinks. When we received the bill, the oysters were still included. It was a disappointing way to spend Christmas with family we only see once or twice a year. The meal cost us over $500 with tip, so we are willing to spend when the meal is worth it. Parma, we know you can do better. We had suggested going there and ended up apologizing to our group for the experience.
I went to this restaurant with my mom for Happy Hour during the week and we only had drinks. The drinks were very good and the service was top-notch. I had a delicious $8 Manhattan that was perfectly balanced and smooth, while my mom enjoyed a great $6 lemon drop. We also asked the bartender to make us something sweet off the menu, and she surprised us with a drink called a "Nutty Russian" that was made with equal parts vodka, frangelico, and kahlua. It was fantastic, like a stronger version of an espresso martini without the coffee. Jennifer was our bartender that night and she was excellent! The parking had enough spots for a decently busy night.
Came for Happy Hour during the week for just drinks with my mom. Very good drinks and service. I got a $8 Manhattan which was balanced so well and smooth. My mom got a $6 lemon drop which was great as well. (Not pictured). We then went off the menu and asked the bartender to make something sweet for us to split. I found a drink on the internet called a Nutty Russian. Equal parts vodka, frangelico and kahlua. This was amazing! It was like a stronger espresso martini by alcohol volume without the coffee. We were charged only $10. Jennifer was the bartender that night and she was awesome!
