Bidra med feedbackFirst of all the drinks and the service are outstanding. I heard that the food had changed since Covid and sadly it's true, the food has gone down hill. I was disappointed with the food I ate and won't be going back again.
First of all…Michelle was amazing! I would go back any time and request her for her great personality and attentiveness to all her guests. She was busy and still made time for everyone!! She was on top of keeping the drinks coming and I did not have to ask her for anything—she was top notch. Jose was also amazing at communicating with me via social media and making sure we could get in! Kudos to Lola’s—make sure you visit!
Great service. The tacos were hands down the best tacos I have had in a while. My wife had the calamari and she didn't eat them because she said they were very greasy. The server notice and told us he wouldn't add it to our bill.
Gothic atmosphere, Live DJ plays today's pop hits. Margaritas are decent but WAY over priced! $45 a pitcher!! Menu overall is over priced. Food selection is very minimal but they made decent choices for what they chose to offer. Excellent Calamari! They don't have regular mayonnaise, just garlic aoli. I visited around 8:30pm. On a Friday.I believe later it turns into a hip hop, bumping, club. Unsure if that has changed. I doubt I will return.
There's no redeeming part of this restaurant or our experience. We were excited to have a new Mexican place in the area and the atmosphere looked great. We went on a Friday night and expected it to be busier. There was a DJ playing music, which we should have realized meant that they needed a draw for patrons because the food wasn't good. Still, we gave it a pass and wanted to try something new. We sat at the bar next to some lively patrons, not in a good way. The bartenders took shots with them and were all drinking themselves. We got chips and salsa and we were informed that it was the last chips (they ran out of chips at a Mexican restaurant at 8pm? . The chips we got were half burnt. we ordered some margaritas and it tasted like tequila and toilet water not the expectation for $15ish a pop. We got a burrito and tacos the burrito was cut in half and presented as if it were a wrap, was bland and was missing ingredients (while including extra unwanted ingredients and the tacos were filled with tough bland meat both meals in their entirety lacked flavor. Always depressing when the best part of a meal at a Mexican restaurant was the surprise French fries that came on the side of the burrito/wrap. $80 for essentially a bad sandwich, bad tacos, two toilet flavored margaritas, and burnt chips. Lesson learned for us If we see penne alla vodka as a main entree at a Mexican restaurant, we'll pass on it.
