Double Barley Brewing - Smithfield

Great family friendly brew pub!!! The owner and his wife were both there, working on a Saturday, and were very courteous and accommodating! Double Barley brewing was already my favorite NC brewery but their hospitality and friendliness makes them one of my favorite breweries of all time! Had two imperial stouts and an imperial ipa that were all first class beers! Our group had several flatbreads pizza, a Rueben sandwich, a large pretzel, and a meatball sub that were all really good! Prices were very reasonable as well! I will definitely make a point to stop by there whenever I'm in that area. Cheers!

There on a Friday night, quiet place, friendly barmaid, decent beer and the food was better than average bar food. Would definitely visit again.

A fun stop on our way home from New Bern. Friendly, welcoming environment with a large outdoor seating area. Great price for flights, too! Don't let all the road construction discourage you, it was worth the u-turn :

Cool location in downtown Fayetteville. All paid parking. You can dine inside or outside. You can also take your beer to go. I felt like they had a good beer menu for people who like traditional beers like IPAs/lagers and also for those who like sours and ciders. There are normal restaurant tables and high tops (also the bar of course). Staff was friendly and nice. No complaints- even the bathrooms were clean

Cheryl and Larry are the owners and always make you feel welcomed and like you are part of the family. I love this about locally run businesses. Tonight we participated in a beer pairing dinner. OMG! It was comfort food and everything was fantastic. Give them a try. You will feel welcome.
