Ask for the hot sauce, much nicer than the mild ranchera red they bring to the table. It 's in an old bank building, which is kinda cool and very colorful inside, with festive painted tables and chairs. In a sea of chain mediocrity, Las Canteras is a great choice for comida Mexicana autentica while you 're on US 36. Parking: pulled up right in front
