Joe's Italian - Slidell

One of our favorite restaurants!!! Love the staff as well!

The food tasted better the next day. Portion was small. Granted, I ate some before taking a picture. The bread was good.

Best choice for Italian food in slidell. Service is wonderful, I miss their veal parmesan, it was marvelous pre-covid. I've stopped eating it since. Their chicken dishes are delicious and I'm told the seafood plates are good as well. Ask for the dipping oil for your bread.

The atmosphere is pleasant, but one dining area has a very old and dirty carpet that is wrinkled and in need of stretching. This 1970s carpet really should be replaced with new flooring. The restaurant could also use some minor maintenance and touch-ups, like a bit of fresh paint in some areas. Given that Joe’s clearly does good business with such fantastic food, it would make sense to update the outdated carpet for a more inviting environment.
