The Shack - Slatington

This place was creepy, knew it was creepy and acted like I was the bad guy. As a person who had issues with creepy men as I walked home from school, this place sure did have a hand at gossiping about me. I survived three trafficking attempts and one trick to pimp attempt. As a survivor, I would not recommend this place for survivors. Thank God it is shut down. The disrespect from the establishment and staff towards someone just minding their own business is mind boggling and flat out illegal. Absolute dirty mouths. Talking about rim jobs, heroin and attacking me in the mix of what they say. Puke. Low. Care? Owners just threw the drunk drivers out highly intoxicated. They favored thieves and junkies. Discrimination and fear were instilled to insure something, but I don't want to know what. Abhorrent. Owner had mental issues.

I struggle to order anything but the chicken quesadillas with salad. Hits the spot perfect every time : The pizza is also pretty good.

Greatest place with a wide , wholesome menu. Great food and service. Long standing, popular place to eat. And, must comment on the cleanliness of The Shack. I give it an 11. It is so clean ! Fair pricing overall on everything they serve!

I hadn’t been here in years until a few weeks ago when my son turned 21. We met for dinner and drinks the experience was better than I expected! The food was really good and the price was reasonable. The bartender was friendly and attentive. We all had a nice night will definitely be back again soon!

A hidden gem in the valley! I absolutely adore this spot for Sunday breakfast. It's perfect for a first date or even your hundredth.
