Great food in this typical Portuguese place. Very good bitoque and the cheese appetizer was also delicious! Strongly recommend this place. Also very cheap.

Amazing food and friendly staff! All food is delicious but you should definitely try any fresh fish and the classic Bitoque. I would recommend as a great local and family restaurant!

Restaurante Familiar, comida excelente!

One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Europe. Great service, delicious food, beautifully decorated interior, and beautifully served food. The interior is stylishly decorated in baroque style, comparable to rooms in Versailles and other European palaces! Our waiter spoke English and he was very friendly, knowledgeable about the food, and had a formal professional etiquette. We ordered steak, octopus, and a lobster for three people and we were additionally served with three chief’s special offerings for free service . Our main dishes were served by the chief himself, and all three dishes were very delicious. The special offerings also had unique tastes and were very delightful. We had apple tarte with a cup of coffee for dessert. The price was worth every penny although it is slightly pricier compared to other restaurants in Lison, the experience of going to the oldest restaurant in Portugal and the food was hands down the best I've had in a while. Also, with the free service foods, I felt like I just ate a course dinner. Would come back for sure!
