Bidra med feedbackMy friends and I went to Khansama on a Sunday night. It's good that we booked because the place was pretty crowded. The food is really food and portions are generous. However, the service could be improved. But definitely recommend it for some great Indian meals with an amazing selection of Veg and non-veg dishes!
Khansama is probably the closest authentic Punjabi food I have eaten in Singapore. They have a selection of outdoor seating (on the ground floor or up for air conditioning). I recommend sitting upstairs. I ordered Paneer Butter Masala (SGD 18.50, $13.70) and Butter Nan (SGD 4.0, $3). Paneer Butter Masala was creamy buttery with the right level of sweet and spice. Nan was soft and fluffy. The prices are on the higher side, but I recommend a visit at least once. The ambience was good, the tables were a bit crisp.
My first experience eating in India restaurant in Singapore and this restaurant is unbelievable, I order Paani Poori, butter chicken and two drinks (shikanjavi, mango Lassi), In the love of Paani Poori has unique taste and refreshment, and the best drink for me is mango Lassi
Did the yummiest chicken tikka masala in Singapore so far! Beautiful fresh, well decorated delicate, boneless pieces and amazing spices! I love some spicy food and warning for people who do not: you must probably say that they are less spicy in this case because the standard spice level is quite high! Gulped the main course with two designs of beer cups. A very filling experience that is at a reasonable rate that I must say! The ambience is also peaceful, although this place at the intersection of two busy streets. Also had Gulabjamuns for Dessert and they were delicious! Great food overall and I will definitely visit the second time.
I did not expect the food taste to be that great sitting on the road side restaurant. But food quality and take over a few of the drawbacks like food wait time was long , quantity was less and last bit expensive compared to other restaurants nearby . I would say, must try with friends and family.
