A-one Signature (tiong Bahru)

The service here is impressively attentive! Their claypot porridges remain excellent, even after many years since we first tried them at their original location. The abalone varieties are decent, considering the price. The vegetable dishes are unexpectedly delicious. The fried rice is fantastic—it's not greasy and can be customized to your liking. I highly recommend this place, particularly when you're feeling a bit under the weather.

I would like to commend the service, patience, and attentiveness of the entire staff at Aone Tiong Bahru Plaza on June 30, 2022. As someone in the food and beverage industry, I truly appreciated the warm welcome your staff provided as they guided us to our seats. I would especially like to mention Dai Hong, who was incredibly accommodating in addressing the strict dietary needs and restrictions of my wife and me. While many restaurants have turned us away, Aone Tiong Bahru made it work and served us delicious meals. The level of service we received was truly remarkable. Thank you!

We enjoyed the Chinese New Year four-dish set lunch along with yu sheng, which came to a total of $125 net, including tea, nuts, achar, tax, and service charge. The yu sheng was excellent—not too sweet—and the porridge was also quite good. The other three dishes were decent as well. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the staff was friendly. We will definitely return!

Porridge is good but pricy, service is ok I guess. Remember to reject the appetizers if you cheapskate like me, whatever wet tissue you don't use you can return at the cashier also.

A-One sits at a price range that's a little lower than the casual range of Crystal Jade, Paradise and Imperial Treasure outlets, especially their 1-for-1 porridge deals during off peak hours on weekdays. This visit, I tucked into their shredded chicken porridge and fried vermicelli. Pretty alright, no complaints. Take note to decline the fried fish skin and braised peanuts if you aren't into them as they do add to the bill unnecessarily.
